Ready, Set, Start Your Hiring Engines

Remember those people who you had to lay off when Covid hit?

Well, most haven’t been waiting around for you to call them back.

We’re already seeing talent shortages in certain industries like restaurants. The people restaurant owners they thought they’d be able to hire back have taken positions in other industries.

What’s your plan to restaff your organization so that you’re well positioned to participate in the recovery that has already begun?

Here are three things you can do right away to ensure you have the talent you need to move your business forward.

1. Create a talent strategy for the post-Covid world of work. You can do this in a day. Let me know if you need some help.

2. Take a close look at the career section of your website. Many of you are repelling talent, when you could be attracting talent. When candidates come to your site, is it compelling enough to get them to apply? If not, now’s the time to change this.

3. Make sure all your hiring managers are trained on how to select for success. Hiring isn’t just about you deciding whether or not a candidate is right for you. Top candidates are looking at you as closely as you’re looking at them. Don’t blow it!
