Everyone around me is expressing how wonderful it feels to hang around the house this holiday season. No where in particular to go. Those that are working are thrilled to find out that business has basically come to a standstill for most. So how do you get things moving again after the holidays are over?
Get back on track-Put yourself and your family back on schedule several days before the alarm is scheduled to go off at 6:00 AM again. This will help reduce the craziness that occurs when four people oversleep on a school/workday.
Stop procrastinating-Don't leave things for the last minute. Slowly start checking off items that you swore you'd get done over the holidays so you can begin the new year with a clean slate.
Prepare today for success-So you are going to lost ten pounds right after the first of the year or you are finally going to find a new job. Why delay the pain any longer? Take action today and you'll be well on your way towards achieving your goals the moment the New Year arrives.
Exercise-This is no time to be a slacker. Continue your exercise routine so you can retain your energy levels.
Get your plan in place-Use this time to plan. Ever notice how some people are able to jump right in and do what needs to be done the moment they re-enter the world of work? That's because they've already got a plan in place and now all they need to do is implement. Can you say the same?
Now is the time to get out of your PJ's and start moving so that come January, you've got your momentum back!
