Ask yourself the following questions to help determine whether a particular person needs to be untethered from your organization:
- If this person left tomorrow, would anyone notice?
- Has this person reached his maximum potential and can do no more?
- Can this person take us where we need to be?
- Is it in this person’s best interest to remain in our employ?
Your answers will dictate what needs to be done next.
