Change is Good

I'll admit it. I don't get people who view small change as if their entire world was going to shift. Case in point. Women who go to the hair salon and come out looking exactly like they looked going in. Or people who go to the mall and return with yet another pair of Chinos. Life is short. Take a chance. Try a new look. What's the worst that can happen?

I see the same in business. Companies keep people on the payroll even though they haven't produced in years. Or they continue to use the same service providers, even though they haven't brought anything new to the table or added any value since they were first engaged. I say it's time for a change.

I challenge you to make one change this week. This change may be a simple as having oatmeal for breakfast instead of the same cold cereal you've been having since you were old enough to read the back of the cereal box. If you really want to be bold, take a look at some of the processes that you are continuing to do. Specifically the ones you've been doing for years because that's the way things have always been done. Make a change and see what happens.

Change is good as it forces us to adjust and make improvements. On a personal note, I'm rebranding my company and will have lots of changes to announce shortly. What about you? Tell us what you are going to be changing.
