So excited to share the news that my latest book, Can We Talk: Seven Principles for Managing Difficult Conversations at Work is now available for purchase here in the U.S!
Here’s what people are saying about the book:
“Who doesn’t cringe when they hear the words, Can We Talk? And yet the truth is, those conversations we’d prefer to avoid are essential. I love how Roberta clearly guides us through the process of finding our voice so we can say what most needs to be said. This book is invaluable for leaders or for anyone who works.
” ― Sally Helgesen, author, How Women Rise, The Female Vision, and The Web of Inclusion
“One of our six Core Values at Saxbys is “Care Personally and Communicate Openly” – simply because we know how critical, yet difficult human communication can be. Roberta’s book does a fantastic job identifying both the importance of actually having difficult conversations while also providing the guidance to have them effectively.” ― Nick Bayer, Founder and CEO of Saxbys
“Everything you need to know about communication and relationship building at work is right here! Solid insights and practical advice from one of the world’s leading authorities on executive coaching and employee engagement.” ― Marshall Goldsmith is the New York Times #1 bestselling author of Triggers, Mojo, and What Got You Here Won’t Get You There.
The challenge of handling difficult work conversations is not just reserved for workers here in the U.S, which is why I chose to start my Can We Talk book tour in Europe. For the past three weeks, I’ve been discussing difficult work conversations and providing advice on how to effectively handle these conversations in Croatia and Italy.
I’m currently booking speaking engagements for 2021 and 2022. Feel free to Schedule a call with me to discuss how we might work together.
I’m also putting together a private event for those people who purchase a copy of Can We Talk, prior to November 8th, AND post a review on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, or GoodReads. The session is called, “Ask Me Anything.” You can ask me anything about leadership, communication skills at work, talent acquisition and retention, and even book writing. If you prefer, you can submit your question in advance and if you’d like anonymity, this can be arranged. The Zoom session will take place on November 8th from 11:00 AM, EST to 11:45 AM and will be recorded.
You can purchase your copy here or wherever you prefer to buy your books.
